Note: Patent-pending UltraSM® films are porous due to crystallization of silicon. Nanocrystals can appear as background and the best imaging occurs over the nanopores. These films may contain a ~10 micron pinhole in a particular window that can be useful for beam alignment and does not reduce the robustness of the film.
